What happens when early access ends?
We'll introduce a paid tier eventually — running servers, storage, and the Plaid integration all cost real money. When that happens, we'll give existing users plenty of notice and a fair price.
We won't do dark patterns, surprise charges, or lock you out of your own data. That's a promise.
Common questions
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Sign up with just an email address. No payment info collected at all during early access.
Is my bank data safe?
We connect to your bank via Plaid, which gives us read-only access. We can see your transactions but cannot initiate transfers or access your credentials. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Plaid access tokens are encrypted in the database, and stored data is protected by production database access controls.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes, at any time. Contact us and we'll delete everything — account, transactions, connected institutions — within 48 hours.
How many accounts can I connect?
No limit during early access. Connect as many banks, credit cards, and accounts as you need.
Is there a mobile app?
Effortless is a Progressive Web App (PWA). On iOS, open it in Safari and tap 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android, your browser will prompt you to install it. It works like a native app.
