Servers, storage, and bank connections cost money. We expect to add paid options eventually. When that happens, you’ll get plenty of notice and a clear choice. Your data will still be yours.

Do I need a credit card?
No. Sign up with your email address. We do not collect payment information during early access.
What happens when early access ends?
We plan to introduce paid options as Effortless grows. Existing users will get advance notice and clear pricing. There will be no surprise charges.
Is there a limit on connected accounts?
Not during early access. Connect the bank accounts and credit cards you need, and add manual accounts for anything else.
Can I use Effortless without linking a bank?
Yes. Add manual accounts, enter transactions yourself, or import CSV and supported bank files. Automatic bank connections are optional.
How is my bank information protected?
Plaid handles your bank connection with read-only access. Effortless cannot move your money. Connections use encrypted traffic, Plaid access tokens are encrypted in the database, and you can protect sign-in with passkeys or two-factor authentication.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Export transactions or download a full backup from the app. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we will handle the request within 48 hours.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Use Effortless in your mobile browser, or add it to your home screen. On iOS, use Safari’s Add to Home Screen option. On Android, use your browser’s install option.
